Office of Institutional Progress and Effectiveness
The Office of Institutional Progress and Effectiveness (IP&E), part of the Division of Strategy and Impact, supports 大像传媒 (Tri-C®) in making thoughtful, evidence-based decisions. Working closely with the Office of Institutional Research, IP&E provides research, analysis and planning support that helps the College strengthen student success and serve the community.
Our Focus
Creating a culture of inquiry
IP&E promotes the use of evidence and analysis across the College so decisions at every level are rooted in facts and shared understanding.
Supporting enrollment planning
IP&E contributes research and decision support to Tri-C's Strategic Enrollment Plan, helping the College respond to changes in student demand, demographics and regional needs.
Improving student persistence and completion
A particular focus is placed on part-time students, who make up most of Tri-C's enrollment. Research and analysis help identify approaches that strengthen student progress and achievement.
Gathering student and community feedback
IP&E oversees many of the College's surveys and works to ensure that the insights gained are used to guide improvement and responsiveness.
Understanding the regional economy
IP&E conducts research on the local labor market and workforce trends, connecting Tri-C's mission with the economic realities of the region.
Exploring curriculum innovation
In partnership with faculty and academic leaders, IP&E helps plan for the careful integration of skills-based approaches to curriculum design.
Regional engagement
By sharing data and research with community leaders, the office helps demonstrate Tri-C's role in advancing opportunity and contributing to the region's vitality.
